Yes. The flexible rTPU tread provides better material adhesion on damp grass compared to conventional hard plastic wheels and helps minimize wheel slip.
Are off-road wheels noisy on paved paths?
On the contrary. Due to the damping properties of the TPU material, the robotic mower often rolls more quietly on hard surfaces than with hard plastic wheels.

installing the wheels

Exchanging them with our replacement wheels for your Gardena robotic lawnmower is easy and a matter of minutes.

  1. Remove the mounting screws and set them aside.
  2. Remove the old wheel simply by pulling it off the rim.
  3. Put the new wheel on the rim.
  4. Secure the new wheel with the screws set aside. Please only tighten the screws hand-tight.
  5. The screws can loosen due to the vibrations. Therefore, please check the hold regularly or use a special fixing varnish for the screws.
Your Gardena robotic lawnmower is now ready for use.
